This is my first digi cam from Olympus, after doing a lot of research by visiting most of the showrooms in town I finally laid my hands on FE-330. It was priced just in my budget around 9k with 8 megapixel and 5x optical zoom and a good 2.7 LCD display. The most irritating thing about this cam is that you need to remove the batter and charge it for almost 8 hours and the backup is not that good. Lithium-ion 3.7v As this is a sleek design, the flash is poor especially when you battery is low.
The result the snaps will appear dark as there is not enough light on the object which you shoot. Even on a full charge you can expect this problem when you shoot indoors.Else this is a very good piece with innovative features like candlelight snap mode where the pics will be bright in orange hue, sunset or sunrise mode, Behind Glass mode, fireworks mode, indoor mode.
You can also shoot short videos on this digi cam with sound. You get a 2GB XD regular picture card(no micro card), a software CD, data cable and a battery charger(bulky)My advice, go for a cam with a powerful flash with a good battery backup
