Old Monk is perhaps the best alcohol I have ever tasted. Having never cared for and never really having had the stomach for hard liquors, it says a great deal for me to praise the quality of Old Monk rum.

I had the pleasure of tasting Old Monk Rum, from India, just about a month ago while working at a Tall Ship event in my home city - Bay City, MI.   I spent the weekend working with a naval training vessel from India. The abundant hospitality of the crew included my introduction to Old Monk one evening onboard.

The flavor of Old Monk is smooth and robust. It makes me think of a more potent and more delightful tasting Captain Morgan. It goes down smooth and delivers a strong and clean ’’buzz.’’ Old Monk gives you what you want without a hangover. It goes well alone or even mixed with a cola. A great export form India!
