Old spice, quite a few years back, was a well-known & trusted brand offering a good quality product .. that was before the deluge of the slew of after-shaves jostling for shelf space in the crowded market now. Old spice, then, used to be a premium product among plain stupid competitors like Tata ''Eau de Colognes'' positioned as after-shave. The other reasons for Old Spice's dominance was one .. the grey market of imported goods was underdeveloped and two .. the absence of pandering to the male indulgence.
The fragrance though refreshing has many superior competitors now. This fragrance is what I would categorize as fragrance of a bygone era not of any contemporary interest. (I still like their Musk variant.)
To conclude .. not to my changed tastes, definitely better products available.
