Hi Friends,
Yes, I love reading books, and I don't trust the title National Best Seller anymore.
Let me tell you how books become national bestseller.
It is one of the books that dominate the counters of booksellers of Railway Station, Bus stops and roadside. Generally sold to passerby's. People like me not finding any good book buy it to kill time.
Books like this make me scared to read Indian Author's any more. We buy them read them but honestly there is no place where we can return them in a protest and revolt to feedback the truth.
Unfortunately the best seller focuses on no. of copies sold and not no. of copies appreciated.
I truly feel the author has written anything but a novel.
Maybe a typical happy ending masala bollywood movie script or may be a dramatic daily soap short series.
One can adjust with paper & print quality but how to adjust with language quality. Author has not used a classic language so the narration seems like one of B grade bollywood movie.
I cannot reveal the story for copyright issue but the plot goes like.
2 College friends -> Masala movie(love triangle) -> daily soap drama -> A grief/fights/death(villain dies, social circumstances back to normal, revolting hero) -> and they lived happily ever after.
I wish there was option for negative stars.
Readability: I would comment on language used as not fit for developing a reading habit.
Story: mixture of moral science book and masala movie or in short a daily soap drama. I prefer original.
I don't recommend it to teenage people or beginners as if you are curious or like original thoughts and imagination this may forever shutdown your urge or wish of reading novels and senior readers will find the book too shallow to be liked.
Hope it helps.
