"Beware before you read... you may die laughing.." OH NO NO! I am not saying this, this is what the first page of the book "Oh Shi* Not Again" by Mandar Kokate says. Well, first check my review, then you'll certainly come to know the reason behind this title of my review.
About the author - Mandar Kokate is Civil engineering graduate from Pravara Rural Engg College, Loni, lives in Pune, has twitter and facebook accounts, and is now a full time writer (Well, good for him, since he can not think above waistline, so how can he do projects being engineer!)
About the Book - I got this book just for Rs. 70, from 2nd hand book shop (thadi to be accurate), and I will be getting Rs.50 back on returning it (which I am claiming for sure!) This book is published by Expression Publications, Pune (OHH! not a srishti publication book), and have lot of money to sponsor more such filthy and disgusting books, so if you want you too can submit something for them to publish.
About the Plot - It is a story of a filthy minded guy named Raj (sounds a bell, filmy Raj yaar!) whose family shifted to Pune, and right from the beginning he got a bunch of friends namely, horny-yet-gharelu Arti, his love (love is so easy for Indian writers just like removing clothes of the female partner!), disgusting Sam (who collect used condoms! YEW!!), horny-yet-se*y Seema (Raj's timepass for some inner views), honest Andy (who loves Seema) and a married horny-and-horny Sejal (again Raj's other timepass, and a mother of one child). Then Mandar put some festival in between, a murder, a betraying horny Bai, and something goes which can be called as a moving-plot.
Now, you're all guessing why I am writing horny word so much, because that is what the central theme of this disgusting and filthy book ever written. Pardon me for my bad languagebut I didn't knows any motherf* and sisterf* guy before, now I know one - Mandar Kokate. His mind is so much full of filth that he sees inside the clothes of every women, girl, his eyes got through, even his sister, mother, aunts, and chhodo! You got the meaning na!
The important points (CONS) because no pros are there, I can say just a movie-kinda moving plot is there and the book being not boring (and Title of chapter are okay) is the only positives I found about this book, rest all are negatives, which are as follows-:
In the book's starting, he has written that I may die laughing, but I finished the book, but instead of shame, nothing came to my face. I was feeling so ashamed just by reading, it proves that Mandar is the biggest nymphomaniac available in this world. I didn't got any laughing incidents in the book, I laughed at bechara author's hard-trying attempts to make the readers laugh.
The day our central character Raj shifted to the new place he got 4 readymade friends, and guess what! the gharelu Arti started liking him right from the beginning, and started visiting his house, so is the charisma of Raj. I don't know why does Indian self-proclaimed so-called authors always portrayed their central character as the biggest flirt in the society, like every girl just want to get f by him.
Now Raj is the filthiest character of novel, he went to check out Arti's house, and started looking from toilet window, and looked at her dad's naked body, even looks inside the clothes of her mom. Please stop yaar!
Sam have a porn CD, and he din't know about it, and Raj and Sam played that CD in front of Sam's grandma (accidentally), and grandma took interest. YEW!! How low an author can go, just to create humor, Mandar tried so hard that he goes low below his waistline even.
Now, here came the lowest point of vulgar thinking - Raj and his cousin sister (mama ki beti) can talk anything, like se*, process and what two guys can. And that is not enough, Neha tries to seduce Raj, came naked in front of him, and they both did some foreplay, GOD! How low, one can think, please save sisters yaar! They even shared bad jokes.
A scene includes Sam pissing inside the bathroom of his friend Raj;s house with all open gates, and pushing the pants down, well that's American way, not the Indian one, I think.
This is not enough, they drank, and slept together in their undies, now that's normal for two friends to sleep together (in India), but guess what Raj's mother came and saw them and shot a question to Raj, "Are you homese*ual". I didn't know still in India, mother can directly talk like that to her son. And then she doubted his son to be a homo, since he is sleeping with a guy, and what is the dialogue "We are not Americans". Mandar sir! No mom in India think that way after seeing two boys sleeping together, it's you who thought American, and that's why you wrote your novel like "American Pie" style.
Even a Gay waiter was planned at the restaurant. Raj is the filthiest character who looks every other girl, from top, from bottom, wants to touch the important parts of them, and describes their important parts in geometrical terms, and the lowest level vulgar language is used. A scene was there where a cockroach enters inside a girl's cloth, now please read the book, if you want to get the filthy thinking of author.
There's a married woman Sejal who is the most horny-and-bitchy character, who wants to have an affair, with whom, ofcourse college-going Raj, and why, to teach his husband a lesson, who have another affair going on. Raj just have to pretend as Sejal's boyfriend, but Sejal always try to seduce Raj, even Raj saw her without clothes, did, what they required to do, just to show an affair, I think doing all those things in actual, is not required, but Mandar wants to write that only, so.
A 6yr old girl blackmailed Raj, when she saw Raj and Arti Kissing, and mature dialogues given to her, Mandar sir, hats off to you, you don't know anything about writing for sure.
More disgusting you want to go, Sam sat outside one uncle's house-window, In every few minutes that uncle used to throw condoms, and sam has a habit of collecting those used condoms, even one condom directly falls on his head, and he enjoys it. Sam is the Stifler of American Pie, but Mandar is....
In one scene, Raj's mom not able to distinguish Raj, why, he was in fake moustache and beard, are yaar, its easy to find a fake beard on a vollege going guy, because it didn't increases the age, and Raj's mother not able to guess him, even by seeing from front.
Once they all went for a movie, Raj came late, and guess what he is asking to Arti inside the theatre, "What is the name of this movie", are yaar, if you're watching a movie in a theatre, it is impossible that you haven't got to see the name of movie, posters are glued to every part of a theatre.
Raj did something with his sister Neha, he see, his girlfriend's parts, his maid's parts, his neighbour and friend Seema's part, married woman Sejal's parts, mom's parts, uncle's part's and everybody'd part. Now I come to know who wrote the stories at porn sites, Mandar Kokate.
More low, while the musical chair function, which was played between aunts of locality, Raj saw all the uncles standing at the corner of first floor, and what all were seeing is the cleavage of all aunties from top. Bas yaar! Mandaar, you put uncles and aunties too!
