This serial on SAB TV, satirically depicts the Indian Bureaucracy, where the grease of money has to be applied on the palms of each & every official, to get the work done.
The humour element of the episodes is very interesting but sometimes, tends to get exaggerated.
Be it Ushaji?s ?Yehi to? or the other catchphrases like ?Nahin to Do baatein ho jayengi?, the programme does make you laugh, but also indicates the plight of the Indian system.
Pankaj Kapoor as Mussadilal, portrays his character, very well as the poor public, who has to bribe yet bear the sufferings, as the officials only eat but do not do any work.
Mussadilal symbolizes a person who is constantly fooled & made a beast of burden by the shrewd authorities. He is made to sew clothes, buy grocery & cut it & provide the authorities with snacks, every now & then.
Despite all this, his work is not done & at every stage, he is duped & deceived.
Worse occurs, when Mussadi is given wrong directions for getting the work done, wherein, the authorities take the bribe & then tell that he came to the wrong counter.
One of the episodes showed Mussadi as a handicapped snack vendor, who pays a hefty amount to get the place reserved by the Government for the handicapped, so that he can sell his snacks & earn his living.
However, the self ? centred & shrewd authorities finally give the place to a rich man, who proved himself handicapped, by bringing in a fake medical certificate.
At the end of this episode, Mussadi tells the officials that though he is physically handicapped, he still wants to earn his living by dint of hard work but the officials are mentally handicapped for despite being physically fit, they want easy money.
