Oakridgers of Grade 4 at their Best!!. Review on Oakridge International School, Hyderabad

World of Activities is a wonderful event organized by the school every year. In this event, the students presented their talent in various fields like art, dance, music and drama. This year, the school came up with an innovative agenda that states “Students’ choice and Students’ voice’’ and the Theme assigned to my son’s class was ‘Conservation of Energy’. The preparations for this event commenced with the students putting forward their own ideas and plan of action on how to perform. They displayed their creativity and talents during the planning whilst staying united as a class. The teachers played a vital role during this whole preparation as they were the ones who guided and encouraged the students to perform their best.

On the day of the showcase the students presented a play on the importance of saving energy, a beautiful song that spreads the message of staying united to make a change, a dance on the necessity of trees which are the source of energy and lastly, they unveiled their artistic self too and showed the formation of energy through Sand art. I witnessed splendid performances and was extremely glad to see the students showcasing each of their activities with such great confidence and enthusiasm. Towards the end of the show, it was really appreciative of the students to prepare a bookmark in order to create more awareness about energy conservation. I would like to thank the teachers and the entire team of Oakridge for arranging such a special event that created memories not only for the students but also for the parents.
