We have moved to Canada this year. My daughter was studying in Oakridge Bangalore campus and we are extremely happy about the overall Oakridge journey.
We have moved from Pune in 2014 to Bangalore and as an IT professional we were in search of a reputed international school. My child got admission in PP2 and there from our journey started with Oakridge. I still can remember the day when we went to drop our daughter to school. She was a bit nervous and clingy towards us since she had never been to that kind of big school before(she was going to a preschool before joining Oakridge). The class teacher, assistant teacher and EYP coordinator all together had helped her to overcome this situation and she just took couple of days to adjust in school. Years passed by and we had spent 3.5 years in Oakridge. HM was like our mentor. Her valuable tips on parenting was commendable.
I would like to share one of the success stories in this forum. The school had celebrated Grand Parents Day sometimes back. My daughter was highly moved with this event. We had noticed after that event, she started caring a lot her grand mother whom she used to treat her as buddy. Since the event happened she started caring her grand mother in different way.Like getting her medicine, wrapping her with blanket etc etc. We were very happy to see this change in her. Since we always believe that we need to be a good human being who can value culture can become a successful person in the society. This was just a story among so many other stories during 3.5 years journey.
Teachers are doing excellent job and I sincerely obliged to them.
We may again move back to India after 2 years and would like to take readmission for my daughter in Oakridge.
