Dear Friends,

This is my third review in this website and I feel that by reading the reviews here we all get to know the true aspects of products and services that we are about to buy. It helps

us to make informed decisions and in the endeavor to help the same I write this review.
I purchased Nokia E50 in Feb 2007. It had just been launched then and I have been a Nokia fan for a long time. I am working at the mid-management level of a large company and have the usual needs. E 50 is a phone with good reception, internet connectivity to my laptop, blackberry service and a working camera. I do like to listen to music but hardly get a chance to do so on a working day.
After using this phone for past 6 months I am very satisfied with it. The phone has fantastic reception and voice quality and I have hardly noticed call drops even  a low signal area. Also I have used the GPRS service on this phone frequently (Airtel Service). Even though the internet connection is slow, I am able to get my online work done on the move (email, orkut etc).
I have dropped the phone twice because of my carelessness, still it works fine and has had a little cosmetic damage (nothing life threatening :-)). Thus I feel it is a very sturdy phone. The numbers from the keypad have not vanished as they did on my earlier phone.
I have installed a 1 GB card and there is ample space for me to save some music.
The camera on this phone is a VGA one and is nothing to write home about, however it does the work for me as I have not clicked more than 20 pictures in the phones lifetime. Music is a slight issue if you do not want to use the headsets and use the loud speaker instead as the highest volume is like a whisper.
Also I think this is the lowest priced phone which gives Blackberry connectivity.
All in all a very logical phone, user friendly, major value for money. The looks are also good. It now comes only in black color and is much better looking than the earlier silver and grey color combination.
It is now available in the market in Rs. 9000 to Rs. 9500 range and is worth every paisa of it.

Regards,

Sanjoy Das
