Its been quite a while since I have wanted to get a new phone. And I really am not a cell-phone freak. An ideal phone to me should be one that should be slim enough to fit in my pockets without causing
discomfort and I should be able to receive and make calls when necessary. Throw in FM and an MP3 player and voila, you have my kind of a phone. And thats exactly what the new Nokia 6300 phone is. Slim, elegant and sexy.
I have been using the phone for a over a month now and its simply amazing. The voice clarity and reception is excellent and the user experience cannot get better than Nokia. The phone is really sleek and it fits into your pocket and you would not know its there.
Regarding the features, it has a big screen 16 Million colors display (just like windows).  The display clarity is as good as it gets. The entire display has been utilized to good effect. Apart from the stunning display theres a visual FM, an MP3/MP4/MPEG player (with a cool user interface). One cute little feature is the graphical smileys in the messages just like the ones in the instant messengers. There is also a full fledged organizer with an Alarm Clock, Calendar, To-Do list, Notes etc etc etc. The camera is 2 MP and the photo and video clarity is pretty good. Flash is missing but theres a night mode which helps for clearer pictures at night. Ringtones include polyphonic and MP3.  Other features include Web and Bluetooth and several applications.
The phone comes with a 128 MB flash card upgradable to 2 GB. Also a cool leather casing is provided which keeps the phone scratch free.
To sum up Nokia 6300 - Slim yet powerful!!!
