I bought this phone on june 8, 2008. Had se w850i before this. I have been using it for more than 1 and half years. I have not got any technical problems till now with this phone except that it is very slow. Switching off and on the cell will take long time and even opening the menu and moving to different icons is very slow.
At the beginning, I got a problem. It showed "memory full. delete some data" even though there was enough memory. But it was solved after I reset the phone software.
Speed of the phone was some wat increased after upgrading to new version software from nokia.
storage of contacts is unlimited. u can store many numbers in single name.
the picture for contact while calling is very small. but it can be solved by using a s/w by'Best'.
joystick seems to become soft after usage of somedays.
a big advantage of this phone I like very much is, it is very durable. I have put down this cell'n' number of times. but not even a single crack on it. it is very strong.
the sound of the cell is great. It ll beat SE w850i in sound. but sound is not that much clear. some times it ll be like noise.
One of the best features in this phone is camera clarity. Among all the cells I saw with my friends and relatives(w810i, k750i, 7310, w395, w850i), this has the good camera clarity. But camera is also slow. Open the shutter and wait for 20 to 30 sec for the camera to open. After taking picture, u have to keep in same position for 3 to 5 sec for it to save. otherwise picture will be distorted.
Another disadvantage is whatever image u have in cell, it ll be displayed in gallery. u cannot store any image privately.
the style of the phone is bad. Even on the same day I bought the cell, no one believed me that it was new cell. I had w 850i before buying this. look of w850i is superb. n73 cannot be compared with w850i. n73 looks like a bar of soap. it is very big in pocket.
U cannot create ur own picture msg as in SE.
Even though many disadvantages in this cell are negotiable when compared to other phones, only problem is the phone is very slow. It is good value for money. I ve never thought of changing this phone till now. But now I m looking for more faster and 5 mp camera, so looking for new phone.
