Hey folks! I know, reading a food review is yet another general thing that comes to us, while reading down magazine column if any newspaper. So ahem ahem, let me also take a bit of responsibility and take you along on my taste route. FOOD!! One thing that a person just can’t live without or just can’t let it for go…be it joy as hurdle, one has to have food and when hunger tantrums are at peak, all what matters to us is that you eat something, no matte, what it is or how does it taste or appears!! I personally are flow the save industry, so visiting food visiting is a must for me, not only to experince good food but also to experience a new mod a new mod a variance and to get the zing if new food travels coming in and around the city. I have been to many joints in delhi and ncr and the reactions were mixed, such as lioking a particular thing at one place and another at some other joint.
 Being a typical Punjabi that I am, being bias or partial to the cusine is natural, but many outlets have exaggerated the concept if Punjabi food by putting loads of spices and fat, that it to be a chicken piece in the very of oil & spices and not having the taste of its own, believe me restaurants like KAKE DA DHABA at cp, MIRCHIES, PANJABI TADKA, PIND BALLUCHI, ETC..are having beautiful concepts of Punjabi culture, but when it comes to food and serving taste, thgey all serve that same typical gravies over-flowing is oil and even the taste is not differentiable. On the contratry one stop shop for punjabi’s is undoubtedly GULATI’S at pandara road, that serves something out of world.
 Similarly, when it comes to continentalpeople have still not arisen beyond the concept if burgers and they settle down for MC.DONALD’S, that suites everyone’s pocket and one remarkable thing about that is, that they have diversified them according to Indian market, but believe me, KFC serves much better burgers. Similarly papa john’s, ruby Tuesday, TGIF’s are serving the cusines amicably wonderful and now people have started recognizing the concept. Again one stop shop I personally like is at Big Chilli’s, which not only serves contributed and American but also try their hands at Pasta’s.
The moment name PATAS come, I can’t resistmyself from taki9ng the names of 7dayz at faridabad mall, but there are even pizza hut, sbabarro, dominoes etc have also become a trend setter. While discussing food, how much can we foget the sweeter side of tastebuds and these days we have so many options around for e.g. if we like to go for Indian mithai we have Bikaner, haldiram or rameshwars’s round the corner and if we want to carve on pastries, cakes or pies then we have the concept of wenger’s, mogun’s or perfect bake.
Oh yes! Not to forget ice creams, baskin Robbins & kwality walls are doing a remarkable job in their field. Therefore, as we move around the cit, we get to experience something new in everyroom and corner of the city, but THE PALACE, which according to me masters in all above mentioned stops is undoubtedly Nirula’s, where one can find all the favorite items such as Indian food and mithais, pizzs, burgers etc. and a version of new trend ice creams and mouth melting cakes.
They were the actual initiators of fast food and burger-pizza culture, today I can bet that one can’t get better ice creams then Nirula’s the name that have brought the level of quality and standard it started, way back in 1970’s till date, be it an old man or a baby one can still carve for the same and I know that the company will keep its winner’s trend going in the future also.
