The story is easy to understand, written in such a way that that the reader faces no difficulty. it comes in both hardcover and paperback version.
Nirmala is the protagonist of the story. the book has a very dull and depressing tone to it. the story shows how a small girl is married to a man who in age is like her father. she could only respect him not love him. the story tell the tale of how she was given out to this man as he sought no money for dowry. the story keeps on taking dreadful turns, I don`t want to make it a spoiler.
