I still remember the day when I purchased this camera while going to back to home from my working place. It was a sudden decision.I was gifted a zoom lens yashica camera while I was in class 12 and I really enjoyed a lot with it. Photography with it was like a hobby for me. Now, I also in need of a digital camera, but somehow I did not manage to purchase one.
This Yaschica was my companion while I travelled any where with my friend, or went to any family gathering, marriage etc.But, just before our Vizag trip, the camera got some issues with the FLASH and I deposited it to service centre.My reliable mechanic asked me to spare him at least 15 days to get my camera in perfect condition. Here, we had to go out with in next 2 days and that means a tour to Vizag with no camera!
So, I decided to purchase a digital camera with simple configuration and resolution just to serve my purpose for this tour. As travelling was on the cards, budget was also an issue of concern, so purchasing a camera was a bit risky but unavoidable decision!
Anyways, I was convinced by the showroom person about the Nikon Coolpix L21. He was also asking me to purchase Olympus of 12 MP, But, I relied on my gut feeling and went for Nikon Coolpix L 21.
I have completed the entire Vizag, Hyderabad tour with this digital camera, and there after used this one for on most of the occassion at my home or outside, and I am completely satisfied with it.
It is not a high end camera, and it has got its own limitations, but then with 8MP camera I am really getting the true value. It does not produce bright picture at night despite using flash and video recording time is limited too.
But, for a regular use I am now relying on this camera, as it is easy to carry, budget friendly and a nice machine to operate.
Once fully charged, It gives you at least 48 hours service with out any problem of battery. I have changed the batter only once in last 5 years, so it is quite good.
I recommend it.
