I love to read magazines and usually buy More and Real. For a change I thought I would try a different magazine, and decided to try New Woman. Obviously it is aimed at women, but you men can read it too
if you want to.

The magazine comes out monthly and costs £2.60 which is not a bad price to pay every 4 weeks. I actually bought the first one I got in Ibiza so ended up paying double the price for it.

Features - There are celebrity spy’s where you get information about all the celebrities. This is good for people that like gossip. Also covers different stories on real life people. Some of the features in the August edition include ’’I now pronounce you mr and mrs jinx’’. This is a story of one honeymoon and 7 disasters. Another feature is ’’The whole hotel burned down - except for room 327’’. These are all spooky holiday stories.

Bloke - This covers everything about blokes. Lots of topless men to stare at, blokes tell us what is in their speedos and ways to get your money’s worth out of your bloke.

New Fashion - This covers everything you need to know about the latest fashion. See what you can buy for under £100, designer clothes for you and your kids.

New Beauty - This covers make-up and colours to buy. It also covers perfume and hair accessories.

New Body - This covers how to lie on a beach and hide your wobbly bits, and how to join the mile high club and reasons why you have missed your period and you are not pregnant.

New Stuff - This includes films, television programmes, books, video’s and music.

Regulars - These are what you what find in the magazine every month. These include problem pages, editors welcome, lunch break, debate, star signs, stockists and out of the closet.

There are 242 pages to look through and read, so it is definitely worth the money.

The front page of the magazine is glossy. It features a woman and titles of some of the stories that you will find in the magazine. It is not an eye catching cover to look at, as it is quite cluttered really.

The August issue there was a free book worth £5.99. This is the main reason why I decided to buy the magazine. Now that I have read it though, it is definitely one I will be buying every month. The free book that came with it is called ’’Pastures Nouveaux’’ by Wendy Holden.

The downside to New Woman is that there are loads of advertisements, which I usually just skip through anyway.

I think this magazine is just like one called ’’Company’’, so if you have read that, then you will know what this is like.

You can subscribe for £12.50 for 6 months, but I will just buy it from the shops for now.

They have a website that you can check out at www.newwoman.co.uk I have not checked it out yet though as it takes me long enough to read the magazine.

I recommend this magazine to anyone who loves reading!!
