Credit goes to this site to popularise the concept of finding jobs (in India) on net. Naukri.com as a job site is a favoured job site in India.

It is perhaps because:

1. new jobs are posted regularly.
2. finding a suitable opening is easy (simple to navigate)
3. email alerts are sent to the registered users for matching jobs.
4. the company that post their openings through this site are some the best companies in India.

It has some Shortcomings:

1. People with job experience of 10+ years do not find response coming from the prospective employers through Naukri.
2. Naukri doesnot update the users about the fate of their applications.
3. In most of the case the name of comany is not given making it difficult to decide whether to apply or not.
4. the email alerts are not strictly matching to the profile of the user. most of the alerts are therefore useless.

What I descovered that if you send the resume directly to the employers after shortlisting matching jobs from this site the responce is faster.

I am not sure what comment the job-site will offer to my comments but this had been my experience so far.
