All chain salons have this strategy of looking closely at your skin/hair and declaring that you have some serious problem and recommending X high priced treatment, and they will bug you until you give in.
Naturals also follows this same strategy. They go a step further. In your initial visits they would be charming and friendly and efficient and give an excellent service. Somehow they persuade you to get a'membership card' and'avail discounts on all services'. I fell for this routine and acquired my membership card.
Since becoming a member, I have been to the same Naturals branch twice in 2 months for hair spa, and actually ended up paying MORE than I'd been paying before. Reason given? For thick and long hair like mine, the price is more. Utter nonsense! If this is the policy why was it not mentioned in the catalog? The stylists quote their own version of the price per customer! Utter cheating tactics!
I have nothing to say against the service, I have been always satisfied with it. However make sure you don't fall for their scare tactics, or when they try to reel you in by spouting the'benefits' of the'membership' card. It is a tactic to make you a regular client, but offers nothing beneficiary to you, in fact makes you pay up more cash. I'm going to withdraw my membership and find a place that actually respects their regular and loyal customers.
