We got our child admitted in NPS Gottigere in Montessori for the academic session 2015-16. When we came for the admission, we were given an extremely warm welcome at the reception and had a delightful experience with the management.
Teachers are very approachable and give an ear to all the concerns of the parents - even if it is as small as an issue with the lunch box. They ensure child’s development in all spheres be it academics, cultural activities or sports. Teachers give individual attention whenever needed and ensure that children enjoy fun activities with regular outdoor activities such as football, run for fun, activity based club sessions of arts, crafts to enhance the skills of the children. The children are also encouraged to participate in cultural activities like dance, music, speech etc. which we have observed they thoroughly enjoy as we get to hear from them days after the event is over.
NPS Gottigere gives special importance to social behaviour. The joy of giving(to the needy), nature care by telling the importance of watering the plants, waste management, organizing transport museum, trip to post-office etc. are various enjoyable little activities to make children understand the importance and the value of things. Learning through surrounding and interacting with nature, are few of the wonderful methods of NPS Gottigere School to inculcate values in students.
Teachers ensure that ALL the students participate in sports activities, cultural activities(especially in annual function day) and class assemblies. The beauty of NPS Gottigere School is in ensuring that not a single child is left behind while participating in any activity even if the child has missed the practice because of any reason. Festivals and National days are celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. National days like Republic Day, Independence Day etc. are celebrated with lot of gusto and the values of patriotism are instilled in the children. Festivals such as Rakshabandhan, Christmas, Ganesha festival etc., are celebrated with lots of happiness and joy. A fun activity organised during Christmas was the much talked about event among the children with Santa Claus coming to the school distributing goodies and singing carols. These activity based learnings ensure the children grasp better in a natural way.
The school is very secure with close circuit cameras monitoring the premises and vehicles(school buses) are GPS monitored and have female attendants. NPS Gottigere School is vigilant in ensuring security of students.
NPS Gottigere is a wonderful school nurturing a child and focusing not only on academic and extra-curricular activities but also on ethical values, social well behaviour, physical and intellectual development. The reason behind the success of the various endeavours are highly competent teachers and staff, under the profound guidance of the principal.
