Narayana educational instituitions are the reason why education in India is going to the dogs. I am basing this review on personal experience.
In Narayana techno scools and colleges, they try to influence a child's mind to keep studying the whole day. Their goal is to influence education and procure as many students as possible and grind them so that they get IIT ranks and NIT ranks.
They teach + 1 and + 2 syllabi from class 6. Students are made to do trigonometry problems when they are 11 years old! For languages, they have a prepared material and they make the students learn all the answers by heart.
They teach the required board exam syllabus around two months before the exam! They have a prepared question bank which covers previous test papers and students are made to learn only referring to these materials.
All the year round they concentrate on doing as many objective models possible. This is not education! They are supposed to teach a student the concepts and how to think creatively to solve a problem and not make them do objective problems by verifying the options!
Morever, the timings are extreme. Classes begin at 7 in the morning and end at 9 for the top section in an year. That is more than twelve hours.
All this puts too much ptessure on kids! Please understand what your child goes through when they have no time for hobbies or play! Life is much more than getting an IIT rank. And full disclaimer - Not every one who studies in an IIT gets a good job. Many dont get placed in campuses.
Please step up to change the education system by not joining your kids in such schools.
