I had a few guests at home. And I ordered a couple ofnon-veg dishes and veg biryanis for home-delivery from Nandini, Frazertown. I opened the veg biryani only to find out that it was spoilt. When I called back, the order taker replied "mistakes do happen" as though he was accustomed to such feedback. A nightmare and embarrsing for me that night when I could not serve my veg guests.
Just a week ago, for my last order the container containing raitha had leaked and the delivery was a total mess. "mistakes do happen…"I was discussing the incidents with my friend when he complained of a lizard inhis food. That was last he ordered or ate from Nandini restaurants.
Surely more "mistakes" expected only to be pardoned by the forgiving consumer.In the past, The food was great and as a result Nandini was able to gain popularity. But during these competitive times when the consumers expect high quality and service, Nandini is trying to ride on its past success only to fail miserably.
