"Namaste London" is a pure commercial movie. It will not be right to call this movie a splendid one because it doesnt have anything much to offer. When you come out of the hall/multiplex after
watching it, you get a sense of loss. Its like a half-baked cake. It starts off very well but drags a lot, all thanks to its weak script. However, we get to witness a good performance from Katrina. She may not be fluent in speaking hindi but she is a good actress. Atleast, she is turning to be one with each movie of hers. Akshaye is okay here. We get to miss his comic timing in the movie and that affects his performance. He does leave an impact in the scene where he lectures the "firangis". Rishi Kapoor acts his part well. Upen is better here...he was horrible in his debut movie, 36 China town. The direction is nothing different. Vipul Amrutlal Shah is an average director but both "Aankhen" and "Waqt" managed to do well commercially. This one shows a lot of promise too because it aims at the masses. The music is a disappointment. Only one track stands out - "Raftaa raftaa".
