Sheldon's first novel

Story:

The book was elegantly composed. It is basic and simple to-peruse. I should concede that I discovered it very hostile perusing the words "he was a gay person" followed by "he was cured". We ought to all know at this point homosexuality is not an infection, consequently, it's not something one can cure, so it was a lot disillusioning to peruse from the expressions of my most loved author. However, I just took a mental note of it and continued perusing, ensuring that part wouldn't influence my judgment on the novel all in all. So the minute I wrapped up the book, I did a little research. Turns out that in 1970, when the novel was initially distributed, homosexuality was still viewed as a mental issue as per the DSM-II, and it has not changed until it's seventh imprinting in 1974. It was such an alleviation.

Back to the novel, it's not his best work but rather it is extraordinary for a first novel. It is astonishing to perceive the amount he has enhanced his written work and creative energy throughout the decades.
