Story:

Most of us really read a less of biographies and least autobiographies, but if we do read one someday then "My Experiments with Truth" is a must. A review on the work by the "Man of the century" takes a lot of pride for me. Its been too late and his philosophies have been quite out of the current walks of life, but his life is worth a lesson and an inspiration. This autobiography is one of the most simply written one, with easy understanding, thus showing the great communication power that Mahatma has. When I started reading the book, I though that I had already a lot of knowledge about his life and works, but I was very wrong as the narration of his life kept informing about so many things that have been quite personal to him.

Mahatma Gandhi starts the whole life from his birth and its quite outstanding of the experiences that he shares about his childhood and what he felt about his younger days. He doesn't hesitate to tell things which make him embarrassing and at the same time mentions his own failures and how he could come out of them.

There are many instances of a first person narration of the times during the freedom struggle which is again quite interesting. If you really want to know why he is being called "Mahatma" then this book will definitely answer your doubts and I feel that you will be respecting him more than what you used to do before.

The cost of the book is also very less which ensures that it can be available to each and everyone of us. Is it not great to know the freedom struggle from the perspective of the one who lead it. Yes there are certainly a lot to controversies surrounding his decisions, but if you keep them aside and look  at the brighter side  this book will help you to  get inspire and aspire as well at the same time.
