Muthoot Finance customer service is fine and go for it, if you really do not have any other options to take Gold loan.
Loan amount offered is good but the interest charges are more it gets calculated to 15% per annum, which too high compared to any govt bank. Also initial processing and handling charges are more, and some ornaments are not considered for providing loan.
On the other hand in a govt bank rate offered per gm is less so you will not get good amount as loan.
So, if you need more amount and do not care about more interest rates you can opt for Muthoot Finance. Security is good for the ornaments
loan processing is fast and loan closure is a bit cumbersome and take time.
overall muthoot finance is good and can be opted judiciously.
