Mutation is one of the first novels I read in my childhood, though I'm not a regular reader. The novel is a medical fiction,a typical of Robin Cook which revolves around a medical family and their new born son.

The Novel could've been made as a movie and the novel commences with scenes that grip your senses. As Junior Victor Frankis born, there is a series of Mystical deaths happening. The writer moves the novel in terrffic narration with a lot of small plots. This extraodinary kid behaves abnormally everywhere and his intelligence quotient is too high that he tries to confide his intelligence.

The climax is very cinematic with a lot of buildings falling around, water gushing in and a few bomb blasting. The novel is very well finished and I don't wanna let out any of those plots in this revu.

Certainly ,No part of the novel gets you boring. The characterization of the boy is splendid. His IQ level is compared to that of Einstein and Newton together.Lots of medical terms gets involved in the novel and Robin cook can never avoid it even.that doesn't hinder the pace at any instance.A great thriller form a great author.the novel is really scary.
