Is your CEO talking about a very bright future when all the customers are being kicked out from the company? Is your project manager spending most of the time chit chatting about others? Is your Delivery Manager the dumbest of the dumb idiot that cannot do its own job? Is your HR still thinks that they are the best in the world and won't compromise on their process even if it is stupid? Are your senior leaders talk about growing the company when their own projects are under fire? Is every Delivery Manager treating the other like an arch enemy?


If your answer is YES for all of the above questions, WELCOME TO MPHASIS. This is a classic example how inefficiency can rule whereas capable ones and talent can be kicked out. The PMs, PGMs and DMs are perfect cases of a'holes here. If you notice your managers, many of them cannot even tell what is going in their own project. All these lungiwalahs are busy playing politics or planning to ruin others. Their main target is those who are able to work hard and sensibly. HR has given a excellent tool called performance appraisal. Most of the DMs are capable of counting only 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and they do so all through the year. If they suspect someone to be good and talented, they will begin digging the ground for that poor soul. These losers never feel shame about their behavior and doesn't even care who speaks what about them. They dont feel guilty about ruining the company and putting thousands of peoples career at risk.


The company has already lost most of the skilled people. The remaining fewer ones are about to be kicked out. Once this is completed Mphasis will be left with only scrap and garbage in its basket. The managers and other senior folks can then feel safe and none to challenge their authority. Like how Jerry Rao sold Mphasis to EDS these folks can sell Mphasis to some other company. There are many good ones still left in Mphasis but they may be put on guillotine anytime. That is the fact.


My manager was a miracle. He does all the work for his manager religiously. His Delivery Manager cannot even speak English. I never saw this DM doing any of work but only pretending to be a super intelligent. The management is not worried about all these losers but only blames other external factors for the falling fortune. All those senior guys who got promoted in the last 4-5 years doesn't deserve even a 1 rating. But they licked the b*tt of their bosses so well to get promoted. None of the managers dare to face clients(or the clients hate to speak to these half cooked guys). Fake attendence recording is very common. HR knows but do nothing.


The head of the lungi brigade is Elango the good for nothing guy. If the company is to survive it should first get rid of 90% of the managers first. Bring some technocrats and professionals rather than having lungiwalahs. Reverse all the promotions given to managers and above. Closely assess talent, skills, knowledge and ability on a case by case. Fire anyone that cannot prove its worth or cannot speak English. Freeze the salaries and promotions of the managers. Identify those who have proved or can drive the company forward.
