Trust is the lubrication that makes it possible for organizations to work.

This review is not related to the trusted circle of MS but surely the review is written for all of

my MS friends who trusts me and whom I trust. It’s also for all those who wanted to know about our Kolkata MS meet.

Background: Non-stop discussion for one month, around 50-60 M2Ms, 50 mails, 20-25 calls and lots of SMSes are worth mentioning after our first rocking MS meet in Kolkata. Around 1 month back Mimi asked me as what are you doing in last weekend of April? I told her I’m going on a long vacation, so won’t be available in Kolkata she was like we are planning an MS meet that time as Sanjoy is coming to Kolkata. I said it seems to be a nice idea but I’m sorry as I can’t make it. After few days I came to know that Sanjoy is coming on 21st of April only. This time it was Snigdha who informed me this. I said if we can have this meet on 22nd April I can also attend this and she said she will confirm it with Sanjoy. She was also interacting with Mimi on this. The entire thing was becoming very confusing as there were only individual talks going. I decided to collect email ids of each individual and start a mail thread to simply this, and the idea worked. We were better organized and confusion was no more there. Now we had to decide a place which can be suited to everybody and as we were looking forward for this meet eagerly this was not a big task to do. And after few discussions Flurrys in Park Street was decided to meet. The date and time was 22nd April 2 PM IST. We decided to have our lunch also if we get some time after our MS discussions.

The Day 22nd April 2007: The traveling from my home to Flurrys became quicker when I got an SMS from Sanjay as he is already inside Flurrys. After reaching Park Street I started searching for the place. Roads were empty as it was Sunday and I was not able to ask anybody (on empty road of course). Snigdha called up and asked where I am? I just said I’m already in Park Street and searching for Flurrys. After few minutes I saw an “CDwala” and enquired about the place. Finally I was around 15 minutes late to the venue. I met Sanjoy, Mimi, Snigdha and elder prince of Sanjoy there.

Rocking discussions: Talks were obviously concentrated mostly on Mouthshut related topics and personal experiences with Mouthshut. Sanjoy was the most talkative buddy and no doubt his words were full of wisdom humor and experience. Singhda was comfortable although she was not talking much. There were also talks on “Sanjoy giving some nick names to Snighda and Mimi”. BTW I also had some nick names for both of them. I would not wish to reveal these nick names as I would like them to reveal it here. Mimi, hmmm, I was not convinced that this is the same Mimi I have known on MS, GMAIL, ORKUT, Phone and on other forums. She maintained her silence through out the meet and the longest sentence she spoke was having 5 words in it. I know Sanjoy will reveal that sentence here. We were also discussing to record that sentence as it was surprise package from her. The “masti” of elder prince of Sanjoy was also going through out the meet and yeah I shouldn’t forget to mention his long “Hiiiiiiiiiiiiis” and “Hellooooooooooooos”. We also talked about so many other MS members. We talked about the 2004 batch MS members like Sujata, Mayank, Adi, Jai, Nikamma, Sweety and lots more. We also talked about Shanti, Abha, Daya Sir, Jaideep Sir and Rohit. Itika and Megha had to be there in our discussion.

Lunch Time: We had ordered some diversified food including some Thai items. I must the food quality was very good. Billing was not a hassle here as Sanjoy was kind enough to snatch the bill and pay it even before we know when did it arrive?

Bye Flurrys, Hope to see many more: We left Flurrys with a smile on our faces as our efforts were successful and we were able to have a successful meet in Kolkata. We also decided that Mimi will write a detailed review on this meet and post it to MS and I will write a quick review like this one if I get time. This Sunday evening was not very hectic for me so I completed my 88th MS review and dedicate it to our rocking MS meet in Kolkata. Hope to meet with lots of other MS friends.
