UPDATE 8/13/01...ALL AREAS OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER HAVE NOW BEEN UPDATED!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!


The new Mouth Shut Community Center was a great addition to the Mouth Shut site. Just follow those moving eyes!

It lets you know about up to the minute site status which is quite helpful.

The help center and FAQ’s are also a great addition.

It tells us what all the guidelines are for becoming a star writer, competing in contests,how to read,rate and comment on reviews and also how to write a review.

The community center explains what your circle of trust is, and how to go about choosing the right people for your own circle.

BUT...........

The problem with the community center is that I don’t think all the other features are updated in a timely manner.

Take for instance, The Hall of Fame. It’s been the same for weeks and weeks. Come on, there are so many others that deserve to become members of the hall of fame.

Hot Reviews, they’ve been the same since the community center started. Aren’t there any newer reviews that deserve that honor? The reviews listed are old and stale.

Flagged and mouth sealed members have not been updated since June!

Aarti wrote a beautiful letter to all of us members, a couple of months ago, actually it was back in May. An update would be nice. Even if just to say, ’’hi, and thanks’’ to all of us.

Same for Faisal.

I know Mouth Shut administration is busy making this site a wonderful place to be. But, just a couple of words every month would boost spirits and keep us all happy.

(I do get immediate responses when I e-mail anyone at Mouth Shut, I must say that!! And that’s great!!)

All in all, I think the Community Center is a top notch idea, but it needs to be updated a little more often.

Once again, thanks to everyone, readers, writers and administration, Mouth Shut is still The Best !!
