I’m no star writer. My reviews haven’t even crossed the double digit. Most members don’t even know me…but that does not stop me from penning down this one!!! I hope, new members find it useful.

A regular MSian is one who writes regularly. And don’t worry, your definition of being Regular would definitely differ from mine…write when you can and write sincerely…

Reviews on MS can be broadly classified into
1.     Simply Informative
2.     Purely entertaining
3.     And, a combination of both…(Talking about MSians who write that way, if you’re thinking about me….I’m blushing ;-) )
Choose your style of writing and stick to it. Nothing wrong with experimenting, but the outcome should be readable, understandable and appreciable!!!

A true MSian is one who not only reads one’s review, but reads it completely. Just going thro’ the first few lines and then giving a rating based on it, isn’t right.
The reviewer has taken time to think, write, edit (sometimes some members do, like me…J) and present his review here. And once, you’ve decided to go thro’ the review, do full justice to it by giving it, your full attention.

A responsible MSian is one who rates every review read and rates them, depending upon its merit. Don’t follow the crowd. Listen to your own heart and then, rate…

A thoughtful MSian is one who leaves behind, a pleasant comment. Comments are like feedback. The more one gets, the better he writes next time. Comment, keeping that in mind. Good habits here, include encouraging new users, replying to other’s comments to your reviews…

A watchful MSian is one who updates his Trust List at regular intervals. Don’t trust a member blindly. Visit his profile page< go thro’ a few of his reviews and then if you like his style of writing and trust his judgment, go ahead, add on( Btw, what do you think about me???… ;-)
And, don’t get dejected if members don’t reciprocate your actions. Unki Merzi !!! Trust builds with time. Gradually, as the no. of your reviews grow(useful ones), so will your Trust List!!!

Finally, A photogenic MSian is one who… hold it…how do I know whether you look photogenic or not, unless I see you ???

Attaching a recent photograph to your profile page is a good thing to do, especially if you’re interested in making new friends here…

Most MSians are curious ppl who’ll promptly visit your profile to know about you, after going thro’ your reviews. And it definitely helps when ppl are reassured that you’re just an average human being like others and don’t have 1 ear, 2 mouths and 3 eyes, 4 noses etc…

The profile page is your own space on MS. This is where you show the world, the real you!!! Your Interests in life, hobbies, basic philosophy in life, characteristic attributes can be mentioned here. Personally, I think, it’s a good idea to write about your character, rather than about your surroundings, as folks here are interested in knowing you, not where exactly you stay and with how many !!! And yes, pls update your profile regularly!!!
