This is my 100th review here at Mouth Shut and I thought the best place to write it was of course on the website itself.

Mouth Shut is a wonderful online site that offers the consumers information about products or concerns that we the writers have written about. You will find all kinds of information on the site from books to computers to music to health issues and many others.

I have made a lot of friends here at Mouth Shut and I have read and rated a lot of reviews on various subjects. Some of them have been great reviews, some controversial reviews, some on health issues, some not so good reviews. And I have written a lot of reviews myself on various issues that I know about or products that I know about.

Mouth Shut

When you first come on to the site you will find a very colorful page full of blues, greens and whites.   Across the top you will find links that will take you to your account information, logout/login, Tell a Friend and the Community Center.

You will also find information about your account up in the top right hand corner that will allow you to see how many reviews you have written, your total points, and many people trust you. You click the links beside each of these that will take you to your profile page where you can find out this information at any time you choose.

Over on the left hand side of the Mouth Shut homepage you will find links that will take you to the various reviews written. Such as: Automobile, Books, Business, Computers, Education, Electronics, Entertainment, Fashion, Food and Drinks, Government, Health and Beauty, Household, Internet, Media, Personal Finance, Sports and Travel.

On the right hand side of the homepage you will find the Review of the Day as well as wanted reviews. You will also find in the middle of the page the beginning of a long list of various reviews that have been posted thus far for the current day. You can click on each link under these reviews and be taken to that review to read and of course rate if you are a member.

You can also take a tour of the site that is very helpful. You will find at the bottom of the page various other links that will take you points of interest like: About Mouth Shut, Hiring and many others. Be sure to read the terms or service and privacy notice very carefully.

About Mouth Shut

There was this man named Faisal I. Farooqui who had a dream and or idea to help the world by providing information to the consumer on products and concerns. He decided to make a website that would allow for such. And he developed a team to help him do it. (We will look at that team in a bit.) And he pays you to write at his site. Now it is not some get rich quick scheme, in fact, Mouth Shut struggles just like any other online company, but this man lets you know this up front. He has nothing to hide that I have been able to find out. And I hope that he never does.

Community Center

Now this is a place of real importance. In fact a member can write a review about it! And most likely I will do so soon, so I will not give to much information about this area right now. I will save it for later.

But a few points of interest of here are: News and Announcements, Hall of Fame, Best Debut, Hot Reviews, Member Flagged, Mouth Sealed, and the Help Center/FAQ. You can click on any of these links and be taken to that information.

Mouth Shut also offers various contest through out the year. For example right now there is a trip to Dubai, which I intend on winning. I really need a vacation from my kids, (These teenage years are killing me!) At any rate you can find information about this contest that you can read for yourself.

How I Feel

Mouth Shut has really been a place that I have spent a lot of time at over the last several months. And I have enjoyed all of it. There is so much more to write about Mouth Shut but with only an 8000-character limit, there is just not enough space to do so. (Perhaps one day they will change that limit to say 10,000 or so, or unlimited even.)
Like I said above I have met a lot of great people and I can email any of the members at any time as well as the management. You can also email the support should you need to do so.

I like being able to send reviews to the Mouth Pad where the management team will post that review for me. Well most of the time. There have been disappointing moments for me when they would not post. But so is life, I go on.

I like being able to help the consumer most of all. I have learned a lot myself about products and countries. And this site being a site founded in India I have had the opportunity to learn about their country. As well as letting them management team know that my church prays for their country and the battle going on there. We pray for peace as well for all the world in my church. And I don’t mind saying so.

This has been a home away from home for me and I encourage all members to write great reviews, be detailed as possible, no foul language and inform the world in a respectable and knowledgeable manner.
