Hype
Cons:
Lack of substance

I think MS star reviewers are very much like professional blood donors - I have been visiting this site for the last 3 years and have only seen tall claims. Despite having the "best internet
experts and technologists" very few things have changed. The quality of reviews are very much suspect; MS believes in only quantity and I think they are quite successful as far as quantity is concerned. A section of reviews if some one analyzes carefully will be able to make out that they are just written for the sake of writing; although you will find many names but may be most of them are ghosts because the writing style is ust the same unless MS runs a school to teach people the sytle of writing in MS. I think intelligent people will make out what I mean to say. Also if there were real traffic you could have seen a lot of advertisements in the site but you don’t see much other than google adsense ads. Always there is a contest going on to lure the reviewers; why is it required? Goes Yahoo run any contests for its Yahoo ASk??

MS is against the freedom of speech, it is trying to curb freedom of speech by not allowing its member to join other consumer website? Why? How can a website which procliams that it wants to do good for the consumer can ask for such bonds? Can anybody explain.

I don’t want to talk about SORT algorithm - it is ridiculous - there is nothing much in teh backend of MS - you may ask why then they have 36 employees - my idea is if they have 36 employees then a vast majority of then would be ghosting the reviews :)

Finally Mr Faisal Farooqui is trying hard to attain some sort of celebrity status but so far not that sucessfull - there is no mention of the so called "internet experts or technologists" but all us know that Mr Farooqui’s bio including his love for "hot food", "riding horses" and bla bla - not the least about his "turning down of lucrative job".

I think MS badly need to hire a strategist - they are surviving just because there is no competition in hsi space - I may not be 100% correct but I believe many of my points would stimulate thougts in the minds of genuine MS members and the MS management.

I would love to have your comments - Thanks for reading.

My dear James,

We have seen your review. The honest opinion is that you should direct all these queries to jasmine@mouthshut.com. I am sure there is nothing which cannot be resolved, at least if we want things to be resolved.
