I have just started off by becoming the website’s member and have gone through various nooks-n-corners of the website. So here is my review on the mouthshut.com:

  As far, the general concept is concerned, it is simply fabulous! The website gives the power to judge a product to its actual rights - the Consumer! It gives a common platform where a consumer can stand and tell other consumer what the product is worth.

But, every Big Mouth should have strong muscle to be able to Shut it whenever required. What I mean to say here is that a free right should always have some control. There has to be some mechanism through which you can control absurd reviews (fake reviews). I don’t know if you have some hidden or in-house tool, through which you are already checking if the written review is genuine enough to be posted, or not.

This can be achieved to some extent by limiting the writer’s freedom. Ask the consumer to mention the model#, put various check marks and other tools so that one can know if the product’s review is genuine.
