A great entry level PDA.
My first mobile was a nokia 6110 a beautiful piece was much in demand abt 3 yrs back.
Last year after much criticizm from my near and dear ones to switch to a new mobile
did I seriously think of going for one, and that too a bit of high end piece.
Following were my criterias priority wise:
a) Default Phone features
b) Big screen and some PDA like features like readig a doc/xls/pdf etc..
c) GPRS enabled (and one through which I can actually send an EMAIL)
d) Bluetooth enabled
e) USB interface
f) Music
g) Camera
Of coure it should be around 10K and not more than that.
I did find many with camera and music player in mobile range, but it didnt quench my thirst cause PDA functionalities were of higher priority to me.
Since the actual PDA phones were priced very high, I decided to go with the trend and buy some good for nothing music phone.
When I actually went to purchase a dumb music phone in last august, I was introduced to this fantastic (MOTO MING) piece. It had all that I was looking for and I didnt have to streach much to get a hand to it. It cost me 12500/- and that too with Linux OS Loaded and FLIP phone. RockR was also an option sugested to me, but I thought that was bit bulky to handle so settled in for this.
Since I purchased it it has always facinated me and anyone who looks at this piece. I have also downlaoded a lot of free softwares from http://www.motorolafans.com. The guys there are GODS and can do anything with a motorola. Much credit to AMBA (Ambarish) my chaddi friend who owns a ROKR, for introducing the site to me.
I made my A1200 to work like a webcam, added some fundu Music players, free games etc.. and everything WORKS...
I would very much recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants an entry level PDA.
Oh, did I mention about its wonderful touch screen and easy to use screens.
