Salman Rushdie is a controversial writer.the story is very boring & a time will come you would wish to throw it away.
the words, statements used are too complex, seems he has written it too just flaunt his vocabulary & poetic skills
one needs to refer dictionary frequently to actually understand what he wishes to say.
This book is not for everyone.
I would recommend not to go for this book & save your time & energy
