I happen to be unfortunate customer who thought by buying an Indian company product I would be able to help this Indian company go on world map, however I would never recommend any body to buy Micromax product the least being Funbook Pro.
Immediately after one day I noticed clock was not working properly however I ignored it by using settings of broadband provider which synchronized whenever online. After three weeks there were lines on the screen, I logged complaint and went to service center however to my shock I was informed there is some 'internal' damage which I have done which is not covered under 'warranty'. I argued a lot that how can there be such a minute damage which can be done without tablet falling or any other physical damage outside. The physical condition of tablet is excellent with no visible marks on exterior of the tablet...
I escalated to Vijay Sales who took their sweet time in pursuing the company regarding the way out and after 10 days wait was again told to go to service center. Who again without seeing anything declared it damaged internally.
I talked to Zonal Service Manager of Micromax who insisted and continued with the policy of Micromax. He advised me to have read rules carefully before buying...I am in a situation wherein I don't trust this company as product has developed snag within three weeks with no ownership either from company, nor Vijay Sales nor Service center.
Please be cautious and understand clearly issues which you may face when buying from a inexperienced and insensitive company.
