Metro PCS is still a good carrier just the phone i got was not a good one. The phone went all out of whack i still do not know why. I have switched to cingular since then but i still do recommend metro PCS to people who talk a lot or have bad credit! or do not have a lot of money to spend!

Metro pcs is WAY better then some of the reviews say. I get crystal clear reception anywhere I have gone so far. Around town, in a resturaunt. It’s great to have unlimited Mins every hour of the day!!!!

I have the 45$ plan. Always try and dial *228 to activate your phone it connects you to the computers so you do not have to do any manual programming.

The phone I have is awesome (samsung A670) works like a charm. I got a free head set, car charge, and leather case with it. They work great!!!

Be sure to have them repeat your information you gave them upon activation back to you they tend to get it wrong all the time and it comes up a diff name on the caller ID or not spelled right. Make sure you ask them your default voice mail code and the default security code. You need to know this to set up some things.

I believe customer service is a little off they tend to have long waiting periods, waited up to half an hour once. One guy ended up hanging up on me after all that time! Metro PCS rocks I SOOO recommend it to anyone!
