I must say that my expectations were not excessively high when I bought a Metro PCS phone, nonetheless, the service has actually met and exceeded my expectations. And, for once, I actually have a manageable wireless bill.
 
I’ve been a subscriber for a little over a year now, and have never had a problem with reception, the handset, my bill, or customer service. That alone is a hell of a lot more than I can say for any of my previous carriers. (Cingular in 2003, T-Mobile in 2001, VoiceStream in 2000, Cingular1999, Sprint 1998, Powertel in 1997)

There are a few minor glitches, but nothing major. In fact, at this time I can only think of one, and that is that the caller ID does not show for people that I call long distance.

The whole no roaming issue doesn’t get into the way, I work full time, and don’t get out of the city that often. So aside from that and the caller ID thing, I am pleased.
