We called the 800 number before going to the store to confirm that we could transfer our home number to the new cell phone. They said all we had to bring was a copy of the phone bill and it could be accomplished.
When we got to the store they said it wasnt possible that the phone companies didnt have the ability to do this.
We explained that their 800 number said they could do it, we called the 800 number from my other cell phone and they told the manager at the store she could transfer the number. After we hung up she called someone else and said it would take six weeks before we would have service and that we would still have to pay for both phones during that time even though neither of them would work.
I find it difficult to deal with such stupidity so we left without a phone.
