Pros:
no surprises & never have to worry about minutes
Cons:
would like to see metro go national

I live in SF, CA. I originally got metro pcs in it’s infant stages in the bay area. There was allot of dropped calls especially by the golden gate bridge and that got a little played out considering
I had to cross it everyday to get to work. At the time they didn’t have service down the 80 stretch through vacaville and davis. I go to Sacramento all the time and was concerned that if I broke down I would be out of luck.

I honestly got tired of all the dropped calls and no service areas outside the bay area and sacramento so I left metro and went to T-Mobile.......at first I was pumped about having 3000 anytime minutes and only paid $0 after the mail in rebate of $100 for the phone. It was great at first. I paid 50.00 a month plus taxes..... and everything was fine the first couple of months.... until I had problems with my phone... they don’t have customer service inside the stores to exchange your phone. I had to go through the mail and email to get anything replaced.... I was going through it for over a month and still had to pay for minutes I wasn’t even using... they don’t take into consideration that you’re in limbo......it made me so crazy i came back to metro pcs.

They have better coverage now and the 80 works all the way through to Sac now. This company is still in it’s infant stage and will only get better. Try to be patient through their growth..... I wish I would have been. They are expanding. Now they have Florida, Georgia and I heard they have even expanded to Texas.

People complain that there are allot of dropped calls (I haven’t had any since I came back) but I’m sure there may be in certain areas, but if you were with another company and got a drop call that would come out of your minutes but with metro it doesn’t........... you just call them back.

Just wait until metro is nation wide companies like t-mobile and sprint and at&t will go out of business.,...... pound for pound those other companies will never be able to compete with metro once they are as big......

by the way about coverage and dropped calls, it makes a huge difference in the phone you get.... I would say get the slider or the rave.........
