Well its been more than a week - hey...I was busy...geez!

Anyhow...my wife and I still like our phones. Sure we have had some dropped calls here and there - but just redial and your back in action.

Phone batteries are still working A-OK...and YES...they do last longer than 40 mintutes (or whatever someone complained about in that one thread - I don’t know why people exaggerate this stuff).

The one complaint we do have is my wife got a an upgrade (after she dropped her original in the swimming pool - it went kerplunk - it kept trying to search for a signal when we knew for sure we should be getting one) with a Nokia (baby blue-ish color model) and for some reason once the battery went dead and after several attempts to charge...it wouldn’t. So we took it back to the person who sold it to us for a replacement or something (after all - it had only been less than a month), ended up leaving the place with the same broken phone. So...I’m gonna complain about that to Metro PCS and maybe here (on another thread). The funny-wierd thing is her orginal phone started to work again - so she’s OK now, but not after we shelled out more funds for the Nokia phone....arrgh!

Otherwise, like I says before....it works fine if your well in your coverage area. If your someplace close to the outskirts....you may consider another service.

I live in San Jose - it works fine for the most part.
We have family in Sacramento - it worked fine there too. I went to Gilroy about a month ago - I didn’t work too well there - weak signal...then I have the bottom line model and a buddy of mine has the nicer Nokia (dark grey-ish model) and his signal was stronger in some places.
