I have had service through metro pcs for 4 months and it has been the 4 worst months of my life. Basically I wrote a check to the compnay to pay my bill, well when the ck went through my account, it bounced,
whick was my fault. When the bank contacted me to tell me it didn’t go through , I went to the metro pcs store and paid cash to cover the bill. In the mist of all this, they sent my check to telecheck to collect a debt. I paid my bill on December 22nd and got the receipt proving this. On January 3rd, my bank notified me again, that that check was put through my account again, causing me to be charged bank fees. I contacted the company to ask why the check was still being processed even though my account was pd current 2 wks before this. They told me that it was telecheck doing it and I needed to contact them to let them know the account was current. So I contact Telecheck to tell them, and telecheck explained to me that metro pcs never notified them that my account was current. So now , my account is being messed with and by this point I am irate. So i cld metro pcs back and spoke with managers, and the 2nd time doing this one of the managers contacted their manager to tell them what was going on, and did I receive a phone call to straighten this out??? NO of course not. So on January 16th the ck was put back through my account, but this time the check cashed, and I was charged another bank fee plus the 107.14. So I cld telecheck again, and was fighting with them over this check and they told me it is in metro pcs contract with them that it is the merchants responsibility to contact them if a debt has been collected so they can stop processing the check, and the lazy people at Metro PCS never did their job. So because of this mess, I can’t write a check from my account because telecheck has it on hold becuase of this check. I also have fees from telecheck and my bank, because they didn’t follow procedure. On top of all this, they had the nerve to shut my phone off, because I refuse to pay another penny to this compnay. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW. i AM GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND PAY ME BACK EVERY CENT FOR THE FEES I WAS CHARGED, AND THE 107.14 THEY OWE ME, AND IF THEY DON’T, I ALREADY FOUND A LAWYER WILLING TO TAKE THIS TO COURT. THEY BROKE THEIR CONTRACT WITH TELECHECK AND NOW THEY HAVE SCREWED THEMSELVES. SO MY WORD OF ADVICE, DON’T WRITE CHECKS TO THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL SCREW YOU. AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, OH MY, THE WORST BY FAR. WHERE DO THEY GET THEIR TRAINING FROM, PRE-SCHOOLERS???? I GUESS IT’S MORE IMPORTANT TO THIS COMPANY TO PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AN HOUR BY HIRING PEOPLE WITH NO PEOPLE SKILLS, THAN TO PAY FOR GOOD, EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEES.
