OLD REVIEW:
Heres the whole KRAZR conspiracy, Ive talked to the KRAZR hotline 18009721837, and they say that the whole reason MetroPCS is putting out the K1M is for market strategy reasons.
Metro contacts Motorola and tells them specifically what they want on their phones. You might as well get the RAZR with Metro, because youll save tons. I paired my KRAZR with 3 different Bluetooth Headphones, and the only thing that worked was the handsfree calling feature, the MP3 player continues to play through that same stupid speakerphone. Who the hell wants to hear my Mp3s anyway, but me? This MP3 player is about as pointless as a 1.3 Megapixel cameraphone. Another thing, don
6;t go buying a 2GB MicroSD for it, because half of your Mp3s wont be recognized. Also, there is no available usb adapter for this phone to connect to a regular pair of headphones, believe me, I tried already. Hopefully Metro and Motorola will come up with a deal to have a software upgrade available, so that you may listen to your music through headphones on your MetroPCS KRAZR K1M.
ADD ON:
Just as a follow up Im begining to accept MetroPCS. I am now a KRAZR K1M Guru and know the ins outs and hacks. The reason K1M doesnt play music through bluetooth headphones is because its missing an A2DP that is inherent in the K1. The only option for you is to BUY, and I say buy because, Metro wont provide them as a package: the Motorola SYN-1301. These are the only headphones I know of that will work flawlessly with the K1M. Theyre wired and have a handsfree mic, which works as a pause function. If you want to hook Metros K1M through a car stereo, home system, or another headset; get the Motorola SYN-1504 Its just an adapter to a stereo plug. Headphones lose sound quality with this. They sell other stereo adapters that dont have a brand on ebay, but they suck and dont work with this phone at all. If you want software: Another thing that MetroPCS doesnt include with this phone, go to TorrentSpy, youll find the latest Motorola Tools there, download the software updates, and youre cool! Other things Im starting to like about Metro (now that theyre competing with Boost Mobile), is the included Internet, The recent coverage expansions, and their Travel Talk, which is really just a prepaid roaming feature. but at least I can travel from CA to TX and pay .49 a min. Expensive, but it works
