Recently seen this movie "Meri Pyaari Bindu" after hearing tons of bad words about this movie from my friends, which made me eager to watch, after all how bad this movie is? And I watched it.
Its a love story of a boy named "Abhimanyu Roy played by Ayushman Khurrana" and a girl named "Bindu Shankarnaraynan played by Parineeti Chopra" who are childhood friend with each other. Bindu is naughty and enthusiastic where the Abhimanyu is kind of boring but always available for Bindu. Now the same old, boy Abhimanyu fell in love with Bindu after realizing how charming and how beautiful she is. But Bindu wants to be a famous singer as she had a beautiful voice. Abhimanyu proposes Bindu and Bindu after a liitle comedy and drama accepted and from here the turns of events starts in the movies.
I am not going to mention the whole story but I am going to mention this that Bindu got a flop career and refuses the marriage proposal of Abimanyu but after few years calls him and tells that she has accepted that she can not be a popular singer, and she is marrying to some one else and wanted to tell him first because she loves him and he has the right to know. This one scene destroys the whole movie.
What kind of Story is this? what was the writer thinking? If you don't have to make a career and want to get married finally, then marry to the person you love. I am saying this because in movie there was not a big fight among boy and girl. The girl just go to make a career but didn't get the success and after being in love with Abhimanyu, Bindu married to some stranger and the most shocking thing is this, that Abhinayu is a successful writer in the movie, so after marrying him she could feel that glory in him.
Overall the story is not good and could be better and happy. Films with happy endings works more than sad endings but in this movie there Stupid ending.
That's why I have given it the title as "Meri Pyaari super-confused Bindu.
When it comes to performance: Performance is good by Ayushmaan Khurrana as well as Parineeti Chopra and all the other actors.
Direction is slow and the music is not attractive as well and the Story is worthless.
Overall my friends were right about this movie that it does not worth your time and money.
