I ordered two domain names during the early days when .in domain name were available. This was in February 2005. Since then, Meramail has not yet processed my order. I have written to them on numerous occasion but am still waiting to hear the response.
Meanwhile, one of the domain name that I ordered has already been given to somebody else now. They already charged me Rs. 1590 each for the domain name.
My numerous requests to cancel the order have also been unheard. There online account does not give options to cancel an order once its placed. And under the order status, all it says is ’’Order Under Process’’. Meramail had claimed when taking orders that if a domain name is not available then they would issue a refund in less than two weeks. Its been more than a year for me now.
I live in US and its not possible to visit them or call them. I wouldnt recommend this service to anyone.
