For an email service that started out quite well, this one’s degenerated into a completely unusable service. Right from the time you try to sign in, your problems begin. You get one huge empty screen with just the word ’Home’ in the centre. The word is hyperlinked, so you click on it hopefully... expectantly... and it brings you right back to the same damned page!

Moreover, the service has become more unreliable that a small town post office. If I’m expecting some urgent mail, I’ll never ask for it to be sent to my Indiatimes ID. You never know when that account will deign to open! And even if it does, there is no guarantee that clicking on an Inbox item will actually lead to the item opening... you can wait till the cows come home!

And the worst thing is the Spam... there’s nothing you can do about it, since it comes from Indiatimes itself. On certain days you could find as many as five spam mails in your Inbox.

If you’re looking for a free email service, you are far better off with Yahoo, Hotmail and even Rediffmail. Avoid Indiatimes, avoid frustration.
