Mr. Sultan Ali(MM00936549) underwent CT scan on 17/4/2017 at Medanta, reported by Dr Sonal Krishan. The report of the scan mentioned four residual tumors in liver. We went to Interventional Radiology Deptt in Medanta where the scan was reviewed and we were told that there are five tumors in liver and the missing fifth tumor was shown to us on CT images on the screen. The IR deptt went ahead and ablated all five lesions(Thank God the IR doctors evaluated the scan themselves and did not rely on Dr Sonal Krishan's report).
This is gross medical negligence to miss a tumor in a patient. We request the hospital to refund the money charged to us for the CT scan as it has been reported wrongly.
