Because I work with my hands a great deal composing music on the piano or typing, nail polish really takes a beating. For this reason I only wear it when I am going out for the day. It adds to the feeling
of being pampered.
Time is usually short for me in preparation of going out, so I chose the
Express Finish formula of this nail paint.
On the bottle it states that it is fast drying nail paint. Which I did find to be very true, however, I also found something else.
Good Points about Maybelline Nail Paints The up side to this particular brand of nail paint is that it comes in a wide variety of colors. It is creamy and easy to apply. Goes on shinny and keeps the shine even after the sixty seconds or so it takes it to dry.
Bad Points about Maybelline Nail Paints The bad side is that it will only last about half a day before it usually starts chipping off. If you really want it to last, you will need to apply several coats and then a clear coat over them to help seal the paint.
The only real down side to applying so many coats of paint, is the each coat takes a little longer to dry. This ends up costing you time that you could have spent doing other things. It is hard to do much when your nails are wet, so just be prepared.
In closing This nail paint goes on thick, covering with the first coat. But please keep in mind even though it looks great now, it will not last long unless you apply more coats and then a top coat of clear.
Most Quick dry nail paint does not last as long as the normal type, but this one seems to come off a bit more easily than the other brands I have tried.
