I use Maybelline’s Lash Discovery Waterproof Mascara in Soft Black. It is great and perfect for everyday use. The soft black gives a subtle effect that is not over-powering, and I am very impressed that Maybelline offers this colour in their mascara line.
 
It goes on pretty smooth, but can develop small clumps as it dries while applying. The clumps are very small and easy enough to remove with your finger. I will continue to use this product however, since it has the least amount of clumping than any mascara I have ever tried and it really lasts all day. I have worn it during the cold Canadian winter and I have found it to work well in those conditions, even while skiing! It will be interesting to see how it does in the humid summer months. I only wear mascara on my upper lashes however, so that may make a difference.

Anyway, if someone has found a mascara that is in a soft black colour that is waterproof and doesn’t clump AT ALL let me know. Otherwise I will continue to use this product that has so far worked well for me.
