I purchased the Maybelline brand eyeshadow trio, intended to blend the three colors together to create a striking stare. It works! I tried Almay Intense I-Color, it is nothing compared to Maybelline. I have hazel eyes - brown with hints of dark and light green. After browsing the many color palates, I chose ’’Crown Jewels’’ (no. 20); it’s trio of a fun pink (lids), deep lavender (crease), and a very pale pink (almost beige, used for crease to browline). These colors do wonders for my eyes, and are great alone too! I know what you are thinking...too much pink, right? Well no. Once blended, these colors create a sophisticated look - I’m not a big fan of pink, but they absolutely compliment my eye color. Lasts all day long, no need for a touch-up; although I do personally like swiping a second coat just to brighten the colors up in the evening, if I plan on going out after work.
