Well. I have been to Mayaajal several times especially for movies and other sorts of entertainment there. their cinema hall is really smal.but the AC is good. but for a rate of 120 Rs, I dont think its worth.I have never been to satyam cinemas though I tried once to get a ticket there. my firends used to tell that its a great multiplex thetre when compared with Mayajaall. the thing is that I m stayi near to mayajaal and coz I dont have a vehicle of my own, I find it difficult to commute to the city to watch movies and other sorts of entertainment.
But though the ticket is priced exhorbitanly here at Mayajall, I always see a huge lot of crowd coming in those expensive sallon cars paying the 45 Rs ECR Toll just to watch the movie! I wonder how.! .
Regarding their Amazon Bar which looks like a forest itself, the service is very pathetic.We have to call the bar tenders several times though the crowd is always less there.! they have just 2 to 3 Bar tenders only.All of them look as if they are busy working there.It takes more than 15 mins to get one order.we have to shout agian and agian at those bar tenders for say a bottle of beer or a glass of whiskey.
They have a sports complex and all, but unfortunately it is not properly maintained at all.No Insrtuctor or trianer is there at their Gym.and the materials looks rusty too. Hoever their Indoor Cricket Stadium is good.I have never been to such stadium here in Chennai.Seems it is the first of the kind.
